Sezane has become one of my favorite brands lately and I catch myself wanting almost every piece in their collection. I have had my eye on the Claude Bag for a while and finally got my hands on it! A handbag is one of the most important accessories because it carries everything you need and has the power to elevate your outfit. I love a nice crossbody because I only carry what I need (my phone, wallet, and a lip product). Plus, it goes more with my style, and being a petite girl, I find that this bag suits me the best compared to a large purse. The Sezane Claude Bag caught my attention due to its minimal and elegant design.

I appreciate a handbag that doesn’t display its logo on the exterior. I like a purse where the quality speaks for itself rather than flaunting the name brand. The Claude Bag is made of 100% smooth cowhide leather. The quality of this bag is super smooth (like the material suggests) and so stunning. The signature clasp makes it very easy to open. For a crossbody bag, Claude Bag is very compact and functional. It includes a zip pocket, two patch pockets, and a back slip pocket. I love the half-moon shape and the beautiful range of colors it comes in – I want every color!
Because I already own a black handbag and I am trying to incorporate more color into my wardrobe, I decided to go with the Smooth Blue. I find this color so pretty and it can be paired with a lot of my outfits. The Claude Bag comes with adjustable straps, so it can be worn as a cross-body or just over the shoulder. Sezane also gives you the option to include a monogram. I chose not to get one, but it is nice to have that option.
Because of the leather material, this bag can be prone to scratching and will produce a natural patina over time. However, I find that this bag is more scratch-resistant than any other purse I’ve owned. I try my best to avoid bumping my bag into sharp objects or leaving it on a rough surface. So far, I only have two scratches that are not noticeable unless I point them out. Sezane has a care guide on its website to keep your Claude bag in great condition.
Overall, I am happy with my purchase and I can see myself getting the Claude Bag in another color because of how much I love it. I see myself using this handbag for years still looking beautiful and timeless.

How to pair
I love that I can dress this handbag up or down. I can wear this on a night out or to run errands. I do tend to save this purse for more nights out or special events just because of how special this bag is to me. The Smooth Blue is a beautiful muted blue with a hint of gray. Because of the neutral tone, I find this color easy to pair with a lot of outfits I have. I was able to wear this with a bright red shirt without feeling like the colors were clashing.
